Rowing Canada Aviron: NextGen Program Coordinator

Location: Victoria, BC 
Rowing Canada Aviron has a unique opportunity in the field of Sport Management to cover a maternity leave position. The NextGen Coordinator provides coordination, administrative and relationship support to the Rowing Canada Aviron NextGen Strategy http://rowingcanada.org/national-team/programs/next-gen

The NextGen Program Coordinator will also work closely with the High  Performance Coordinator and High Performance Team in the development of event specific plans for events and camps within the NextGen strategy. This full-time one-year term position commences in November 2017 and is located in Victoria, BC. The job description is posted here.

Lead Therapist

Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is seeking a full-time Lead Therapist to join the team.

Under the direction of RCA’s Chief Medical Officer, or designate, the RCA Lead Therapist will be responsible for daily direct therapy support and national team therapy program implementation for RCA Athletes. The Lead Therapist will operate out of RCA’s National Training Centre (NTC) or any other location as directed by the needs of the High Perfomance Program. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and passionate leader who possesses a valid certification as a Certified Athletic Therapist from a recognized institution with valid membership at CATA or Masters degree in physiotherapy (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

 The successful candidate will have proven experience as a key member of an integrated multidisciplinary therapy team working with high performance athletes and teams in injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
