Canada - Rowing for Gold...

- Day Nine: MEN'S EIGHT WINS GOLD, lightweight four picks up bronze and lightweight double also gets a bronze!!!
- Day Eight: Canada wins first medal of the Games - silver in the men's pair! Shown here are medalists Scott Frandsen, left, and David Calder.
- Day Seven: Aug. 15 semifinals - the lightweight women's double was first, to advance to the final. The lightweight men's four was second, to advance to the final; and the lightweight men's double was sixth, and will not row in the final. Canada also had a third in the women's pair B final (finishing ninth overall.)
- Day Six: All races postponed until FRIDAY, AUG. 15
- Day Five : Men's pair and women's eight advance to A finals....
- Day Four: The women's quad and pair reps were rowed today. The quad was fifth and the pair was fourth, and will not move on to the medal rounds.

- Day Three: The postponed races of the men’s and women’s eight went off today – with the men winning to advance to the final and the women finishing third. The women will row in a rep on Wednesday to advance.
- Day Two: lightweight women’s double (Cameron and Kok) 2nd and moves to the semi; lightweight men’s double (Vandor and Sylvester) 2nd and moves to the semi; lightweight men’s four (Parsons, Lewis, Beare and Brambell) 2nd moves to the semi; women’s quad (Guloien, Hanson, deZwager and deJong) was third and goes to rep.
