This year Rowing Canada Aviron is teaming up with Rowing British Columbia to host the 2008 RCA Coaches Conference. The conference will take place January 23-26, 2008 in Vancouver, British Columbia at the Delta Vancouver Airport Hotel.

This conference will not only offer core education programs for NCCP level 3 and 4 but also has some enhanced programming which includes, adaptive rowing education and the progress made on long term athlete development.

The conference will also include Task #6: Recovery & Regeneration with Wynn Gmitroski. Wynn Gmitroski works extensively as a physical therapist working with athletes across all sports. He is a Level 5 coach and has coached at the international level in Track & Field and as a presenter at the National Coaching Institute, Wynn comes highly recommended from coaches and sport scientists.

Other featured speakers will include: RCA National Coaches, club coaches, retired national team athletes and other world-renowned sport scientists. Final list of speakers and workshops will be available by September 30, 2007
