Rowing Canada Aviron's Position Statement on Doping in Sport

Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is unequivocally opposed - on legal, medical and ethical grounds - to the practice of doping in sport, and fully supports the position of Sport Canada, the Federation internationale societe d'aviron (F.I.S.A.) and the International Olympic Committee (I.O.C.) against the use of banned substances. The use of doping substances, or the encouragement or counseling to the use of doping substances and techniques, or the assisting or inciting of an athlete to use doping substances or techniques by any member of Rowing Canada Aviron constitutes a doping violation and will not be tolerated.
