DDO Updates and News:

Aug. 2010 : Update on rowing on Prince Edward Island  ; adaptive programs in Orillia (by Martin George) ; visit to the Central Alberta Boat Club ; visit to Winnipeg RC and Calgary Rowing Club's adaptive program. (by Colleen Miller).

June 2010: RCA's 2010 "Rowing Escapades" recreational rowing brochure is now available. This provides recreational rowers nationwide details on tours, adventure rowing and more across Canada! Each rowing club and provincial association will receive a copy in the mail.

June 2010 : Rowing is growing in the Muskoka area, with help from an RCA Youth Grant, read more here.

May 2010 : Take a look at an "epic row" involving one of  RCA's recreational fleets.

April 2010 : Canadian Tire Jumpstart® is a community-based charitable program that helps kids aged 4-18 participate in organized sports and recreation. The application process is handled through a central toll free call centre (1-877-616-6600).

KidSport^TM provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. Kidsport grants range from $100-$300. Check the link for grant applications and deadlines.

March 19, 2010:  Irow Youth and Adaptive grants have now been announced.
