Adaptive Classification Workshop Held at 2007 Canadian Henley

This past weekend at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, Rowing Canada Aviron’s adaptive committee held a classification recertification workshop. Shona McLaren, the committee’s classification representative, organized a productive workshop. The workshop was both informative and an excellent opportunity for adaptive classifiers across Canada to keep their status current and practice their skills on adaptive athletes.

Courtney Pollock, an international classifier and physiotherapist from London, Ontario, donated her time to this event. A big thanks to Henley for all their support of this workshop. As well as a thank you to all those adaptive athletes who so kindly offered to be classified again after already having been classified officially before!
