Récompenses annuelles de Rowing Canada Aviron

Rowing Canada Aviron a récemment reconnu les meilleurs au sport de l'aviron lors du banquet annuel des récompenses présenté à Toronto en fin de semaine dernière.

Le banquet de cette année a attiré sa plus grande foule. Dr Michael Murphy, président de Rowing Canada Aviron, nous disait : « Le banquet des récompenses s'améliore d'année en année et nous sommes vraiment heureux de l'excellence, de l'étendue et de la profondeur de notre famille canadienne au sport de l'aviron. »

Le banquet faisait partie de la conférence annuelle de RCA, laquelle a attiré des entraîneurs, des scientifiques du sport, des gestionnaires du sport et plusieurs autres à Toronto pour partager leurs connaissances et leurs expériences pendant cette conférence et AGA de quatre jours.

The recipient of this award is selected by the president of RCA, Dr. Michael F. Murphy, for outstanding service to the sport of rowing over a number of years. It was presented to Andrew Lamont of the Winnipeg Rowing Club, for his long-time involvement with RCA as past president of the Manitoba Rowing Association, and also for his achievements as a competitive athlete and advocate of rowing.

Le lauréat pour ce prix est choisi par le Président de RCA pour des services exceptionnels au sport de l'aviron pendant plusieurs années. Il a été présenté à Andrew Lamont du club d'aviron de Winnipeg pour sa longue participation avec RCA comme président sortant de l'Association d'aviron du Manitoba et aussi pour ses succès comme athlète compétitif et comme porte-parole pour le sport de l'aviron.
