FLUIDITY, POWER, GRACE AND PRECISION

Fall rowingThese are just a few of the ideals subconsciously created in the mind of the observer of our dynamic sport. As Canada's national governing body for the sport it is our responsibility to grow, nurture and expand the experience of rowing to as many Canadians as possible.

Rowing Canada Aviron's high-performance record speaks for itself. On a ‘per-capita' basis Canadian rowers continue to excel on the world stage, and rowing is ranked as Canada's number-one summer sport by Own the Podium.

Capturing this excitement and aligning with Canada's leading corporations is our goal and we are relentless in the pursuit of excellence.

WHY CHOOSE ROWING?

  • National scope and economies of scale for a national organization.
  • Associate with amateur sport values of dedication, participation and performance beyond the commercialism of professional sports.
  • Demonstration of corporate responsibility to the community - giving back in a tangible, meaningful manner.
  • A whole sport has multiple medal opportunities - not dependent on the performance of an individual athlete.
  • Can be leveraged according to your marketing calendar -not limited to the timing of individual sports events.
  • Superior value, lower cost - while some companies pay millions for logo rights, a national sport can be ‘owned' for a fraction of that cost.

men's eight goldRowing's imagery is often used as a metaphor for TEAMWORK.

The focus is EXCELLENCE; that is the way to win gold medals.

Rowing in Canada provides a LEADERSHIP model for Canadian amateur sport.

The conduct of our sport and our athletes demonstrate INTEGRITY.

Most commercial organizations want to be identified with these values, EXCELLENCE, LEADERSHIP and INTEGRITY
