National Rowing Team

The prime sponsorship property is the National Rowing Team that represents Canada on the World Cup circuit, at the annual FISA World Championships and that is nominated every four years to represent Canada at the Summer Olympic Games.

RCA also selects and organizes teams to represent Canada at the PanAmerican Games, the Commonwealth Games, the World University Games, the World U-23 Championships and the World Junior Championships (U-19).

Associate your name and brand with the values of Teamwork, Integrity, Leadership and Excellence that the NRT demonstrates. Sponsorships may be purchased for four-year cycles and range from Marketing Partner (approx. $150,000 per year) down to Official Supporter for organizations with limited budgets or for those who wish to make a shorter time period commitment.
Sponsorship revenues are used by RCA to support the operation of the High Performance Centres in London and Victoria and to pay Team expenses.

Rowing for All

A second sponsorship opportunity is Rowing for All, an RCA program that expands participation in rowing to people with a variety of physical challenges. Title Sponsorship of this national program may be purchased for $35,000 per year. This will take your name to clubs across the country and demonstrate your organization's commitment to assisting all types of people to enjoy the benefits that participation in the active sport of rowing provides.

Dynamic Opportunities for Youth

A third opportunity exists with the Dynamic Opportunities for Youth (DOFY) program that takes disadvantaged teenagers and teaches them life skills through participation in rowing programs in clubs across the country. This is a national program that enables your organization to demonstrate a commitment to helping the less fortunate with positive experiences.

Royal Canadian Henley Regatta

Held in early August each year in St. Catharines, ON this event extends over six days of racing and attracts club crews from all over North America and some from overseas. An excellent opportunity to demonstrate support for the sport at the local club level, a sponsorship of the RCHR will give your name a broad geographic reach and media exposure. Sponsorships are structured from $25,000 down.

Canadian Open Masters' Championships

Held in late August each year at different locations across the country this event attracts participation from Masters athletes (27 - 70+ years) from across North America and even overseas. Sponsorships are priced at under $10,000 and will be of interest to organizations that wish to include this demographic in their marketing plans.

Adopt-a-Rower Program

Individual athletes from the National Rowing Team may be supported by interested organizations through this program that puts money directly into the pockets of the athletes to help with their living expenses. These Agreements usually provide a monthly payment to the athlete of $500 while giving the adopting organization access to the athlete.

Donors

RCA is able to issue charitable tax receipts for donations.

RCA organizes fundraising events from time to time that allow supporters of the sport to meet other supporters and to enjoy a variety of activities. The Annual Row Gold Golf Classic, held in July in Greater Toronto, is a popular event that is usually sold out weeks in advance.
