In this Olympic year, we are proud to invite all rowing fans to the ROW GOLD GALA SEND-OFF on June 25, 2008 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto. E-mail rowgold2008@gmail.com . DON'T MISS ROW GOLD GALA 2008 ERGO-A-THON! Row Gold Gala will be hosting a fun participant rowing competition.
The Ergo-A-Thon is a 1,000 meter relay race open to any gala attendee wishing to participate. Crews will consist of 4 members who will each row 250 meters for a combined team total of 1,000 meters. Individual legs will take approximately 1 to 2 minutes and the lowest combined total time will win.
Prizes will be awarded for the fastest, the slowest, the best looking, the oldest...etc. Participating will give you a chance to; try an ergometer, and most importantly, will help raise funds in support of our national team athletes.
