National Adaptive Team

Iadaptiven 2005, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) announced that rowing has been accepted as a new sport on the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games program. Rowing Canada Aviron sent its first National Adaptive Team to the World Championships in 2004 - and since then has made great strides. In 2010, the adaptive four (LTA 4+) won the World Championships, setting a world's best time in the process.
