National Development Camp Update

 
Rowing Canada Aviron will be holding a National Development Camp at Shawnigan Lake, BC on February 24th - 29th, followed by two days of racing at the Elk Lake Spring Regatta (March 1 & 2) in Victoria, BC. Due to the invited athletes' involvement with the Olympic Camp and commitments with US Colleges, the Heavyweight Men's development camp has been cancelled. Conlin McCabe (Brockville Rowing Club) and Fraser Berkhout (St Catharines Rowing Club) will be training at the National Training Center for the duration of week.

There will be nine men attending the Lightweight Men's Development Camp, which will be used to identify the potential of a LM8+ entry at the Non-Olympic World Championships, being held in Linz, Austria July 22 - 27, 2008).
