Pride Mobility Offers Assistance to Canada’s Adaptive Rowing Team

Pride Mobility Products Corporation is very pleased to have the opportunity to sponsor the 2008 National Adaptive Rowing Team through its Canadian subsidiary in St. Catharines, Ontario.
“We’re happy to support these talented athletes, and sincerely hope our contribution helps them achieve their dreams of winning gold in Beijing. We wish them great success in their effort,” said Brian Fisher, Managing Director, Pride Canada.
Pride has contributed financially to the adaptive program; helping to make additional coaching resources available to the athletes, and has provided equipment, such as ramps to make docks wheelchair accessible.
"This is a great partnership," said Rowing Canada Aviron's VP Marketing, John Lehnen. "Our adaptive program is growing and gaining momentum. The assistance that companies such as Pride Mobility offer is important and contributes to the team's success."
Rowing Canada Aviron, the national governing body for the sport, has nominated three crews to the Paralympic Team in 2008 - the first time ever that rowing has been included as an official event in the Games. The Paralympic Games take place in Beijing, China, in September.
